My journey to computational biology and bioinformatics
- Pursued Math and Bio double major at Meredith college which turned out to be a perfect foundation for computational genomics work.
- Researched at several universities in the Triangle (NCCU, NC State, Duke - UNC Chapel Hill next!).
- Served as sole computational biology researcher in neurogenomics wetlab, building modular solutions for addiction and neurodevelopment research at Duke.

- Invited to undergraduate research program and awarded best student researcher for Summer 2016.
- Fell in love with data, programming, and genomics.
